I've used Gaithersburg Vet Clinic as my dog's primary vet since relocating to the area 2 years ago. I have a senior dog and the staff and doctor have been extremely helpful and compassionate in relation to my dog's needs and issues. They are always very responsive to any emails or messages I leave for the doc, and their rates are affordable. It's nice to know my dog is in such good hands, as finding a reliable vet in the area seemed to be a challenge initially. Thanks for all of your help.

Dr. Hileman is an excellent veterinarian with a deep understanding of both animal health and the realities of pet ownership. I always appreciated that she was upfront about options and total costs and respected and worked with whatever decisions I made. She also didn't shy away after my pet gave her a deep scratch and we worked together to make our visits safe for both her and my pet. I also found her staff to be surprisingly caring - after my pet passed they sent me a card with handwritten messages from all the staff. Highly recommended.

I was here recently with my dog. And I would never come back here ever. Do not take your animals here. The Dr cares about animals yes. BUT the Dr is EXTREMELY RUDE. I came in last week for an appointment and first she is understaffed and treats her one and ONLY Technician with utmost disrespect. I have been coming here for a really long time and have seen multiple techs come and go. The reason I am writing this review, is because the Doctor berated the Technician after I had asked the tech to figure somethings out and ask the Dr. She was so happy to help. I was in the room when I heard the Dr yell at her Technician , "to not think for herself or think outloud!" After the tech was asking for help! What kind of management is this!? First I the client was having questions and then to have the Dr. Insult her own employee. I feel so embarrassed for this young lady. And I want to warn everyone. DO NOT GO HERE.
